I started ashtanga yoga almost 20 years ago and immediately loved the buzz of this dynamic daily practice.
I teach a gentle approach with respect for the student and the method. I have learnt the first 3 ashtanga series which has given me an in-depth understanding of the ashtanga process to help all levels. My teaching is based on compassion, humour and attention to individual needs.
My love for the practice and India led me to study at KPJAYI in Mysore, India seven times since 2001 and I was level 2 authorised in 2011. I continue my learning now with Dena Kingsberg, Mark Robberds and Rolf Naujokat.
I teach small traditional classes for all levels in beautiful Gisborne Tairawhiti and hold workshops and retreats in awesome places around NZ such as Raglan, Queenstown, Matakana, Taupo and Hawkes Bay to connect with the wider ashtanga community.
I have taught retreats in Rarotonga for the last 4 years and more Kiri Yoga adventures await in Sri Lanka, Bali and India. There’s nothing more fun to share with people than travel and yoga and the freedom to say Yes!
